Shipping Insurance for Domestic Orders

Shipping insurance provided by Voyager Indemnity Insurance Company. $1 per $100 of coverage.

Please note, this add on is for orders within the United States ONLY. All international shipping rates include this insurance already.

From Voyager: "Covers parcels and contents from all risks of physical loss or damage from an external cause (subject to the exclusions listed below) while in transit. All parcels that are covered will be shipped in strict accordance with all regulations of the Carrier. Shipments must originate from the United States of America and coverage is only provided for shipping carriers supported by Pirate Ship. Coverage is on a parcel-by-parcel basis and each individual insured parcel must have a declared value for coverage."

I have used this insurance for years with international shipping and on personal packages within the USA. I have only had to file a few claims ever (and only for lost international packages), but it does give peace of mind when shipping valuable items, so wanted to extend the option to everyone.

Before checking out, please look at your order total and purchase the correct amount of coverage. THIS IS ENTIRELY OPTIONAL. If your total is $80, you should purchase $100 insurance (quantity: 1, total $1). If your total is $208, you should purchase $300 insurance (quantity: 3, total $3), etc. 

In order for your package to be covered with insurance, you must purchase it with the order. Insurance cannot be added or refunded after checkout.
